It has been over three years since our home renovation and it just occurred to me that I never really showed the before and afters of how it all went down. Home renovation is not for the light at heart, especially if you are the one doing it. I honestly can’t believe we made it through alive and married. LOL. Living in the basement with the 5 of us was not fun. I did my dishes in a blue tupperware bin for far too long 🙁 In this post I am going to show off our kitchen and how far it came. It started off with two bay windows. One was above the sink and the other was floor to ceiling in the nook. Both had to go. Fun fact, did you know that bay windows let in less light as it reflects it all. At the end of the day the kitchen was a complete gut, cause it was bad. When redesigning, we knew a big island was in need. Our home is 40 years old so it does have a dining room and we knew we would use that the most. We added an extra big island and set up a breakfast nook at the end of it. It has worked out perfect for us! I could go on and on, but I will just let the pictures speak for themselves!!!!
